About Me
We are a family of 5!myswlf, husband, 4.5 year old boy, 2.5 year old girl and 7 month old boy! With the addition of a very friendly, docile (slightly oversized) cat! We live in Acton ??
I am currently on maternity leave and due to return in February 2027. I will be returning to work as a doctor in a hospital roughly an hour away. I will be working 8-4pm in hospital 3 days a week and 1 day a week from home.
Our eldest son starts school in September, and will be attending the London Welsh School in Hanwell. He already has attended nursery part time there for the past 1.5 years.
Our daughter currently attends an English speaking nursery 4 days a week, and our baby is signed up for nursery (just incase!) in January.
My Requirements
Our childcare requirement can be flexible to a point! So we would want to discuss with you your preferences too!
Our core hours would be the three days I am working in hospital, for those three days we would need someone to work 7am until 6/7pm. I should be home by 5pm (if traffic is okay!).
These days would involve: getting children up, breakfast and then ready for the day. Doing school drop off.
Then spending the day with the baby and toddler doing activities etc before before collecting their older brother from school at either 3.30pm or 5pm (whichever works best for you).
Then helping with evening meal and bathtime.
The other two days, I will be working from home one day, and the other day (as were hoping to renovate our home next year) will be doing a lot of admin!
For those two days, the baby and our daughter could stay at the English speaking nursery (ideally we did want a blend of nanny and nursery) or they could be at home too with you.
Essentially the options would be:
7am-6/7pm three days a days a week
7am-6/7pm three days a days a week and 2 days a week 7am-9am and 5-7 pm
7am-6/7pm three days a week then 8-6pm 2 days a week (or shorter one day).
During school holidays we would need someone who could have our eldest son for the day I am working from home.
Initially the three long days would be with our daughter and our baby, however our daughter will be able to join the Welsh nursery from January when she turns 3, after which it would just be the baby.
Our essentials are:
You must be able to drive (the Welsh school is a 19 minute drive from our home, unfortunately by public transport its 45 minutes and we feel this will be too much when our son goes 5 days a week to school
We are looking for someone who can speak either Welsh or French (as our current Aupair has been teaching our kids French and we would LOVE to continue this!).
Other important bits:
We are happy for a live in or live out nanny, it would totally be up to you!
Pay would depend on qualifications, experience and whether you are live in or out!
