My Requirements

Nanny Position – Full Time, Travel, Long Term Preferred (Short Term Considered)
We are a busy, well-travelled family seeking an experienced, highly qualified nanny to join us from June to early/mid-August, with the option to continue long-term if it’s a good fit. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys travel, structure, and a calm lifestyle in beautiful surroundings.
Travel Schedule
• Bermuda: 10 June – early/mid-August
• London & Europe: early/mid-August
• Bermuda: September (and ongoing for long-term candidates)
You are welcome to join us for the first block (June–August) as a short-term “working holiday” to see whether the lifestyle suits you. We are ultimately looking for someone who can commit long-term, but we are open to short-term placements for the summer period.
Role & Hours
• Minimum 50 hours per week, with some weeks reaching up to 80 hours, especially while in Bermuda.
• This role suits someone who wants to earn a substantial amount in a short period.
• Hourly rate, paid weekly or daily via Wise in USD or GBP.
• Flights and travel insurance provided.
Candidate Requirements
Essential
• University degree
• Experience with children under 5, with a strong understanding of early childhood development
• Familiarity with the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Valid paediatric First Aid
• Non smoker
• Comfortable with a small dog (we have a friendly 3kg toy poodle who gets on well with our twins)
• Passport/visa:
o UK, EU, or Canadian passport or
o UK multi entry visa This is required for entry into Bermuda.
Preferred
• Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) — background check will be conducted
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• Willingness to travel with us on short trips to the US or Canada, or stay in Bermuda with the twins when needed
• Experience working with families from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Capable swimmer (we occasionally spend time at the beach, pool, and on boats)
About Us
We are a family with 1.5-year-old twins, a small hyperallergenic dog, and a guinea pig. Our lifestyle is dynamic and travel heavy:
• Bermuda: ~60% of the year
• London: ~15%
• Additional travel to Europe, the Middle East, Japan, and North America
Recent trips include skiing in Europe and two weeks in the Middle East. We have a regular European travel nanny who joins us for some European trips; this role focuses primarily on Bermuda and London, with occasional additional travel.
Accommodation
• London: Live out
• Bermuda & other non UK locations: Live in, with your own room
• Grandparents occasionally visit when we are abroad, but they have their own homes in London and do not stay overnight there.
• Our extended family is multicultural, with different food preferences and customs, so comfort working within a diverse household is helpful.
