My Experience

From a young age, I’ve had a natural love for caring for children. I began babysitting at just 10 years old, helping to look after my younger cousins and family members. Growing up in a big family gave me plenty of hands-on experience and helped me develop a strong sense of patience, responsibility, and connection with children of all ages.

At 18, I took my passion a step further by working in a professional nursery setting. I spent a full year there, gaining valuable experience and insight into early childhood development. During that time, I had the opportunity to work with children of all age groups — from newborns and toddlers to children as old as 10 — which allowed me to grow confident in supporting a wide range of needs and personalities.

More recently, I’ve transitioned from nursery work to focus on more personal, one-to-one childcare. I’m currently working as a nanny while preparing to open my own childminding business. I truly enjoy forming close, meaningful bonds with each child in my care and being part of their individual journey as they learn and grow. Creating a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where children feel seen and supported is at the heart of everything I do.

My Qualifications

I’m fully equipped with the essential training and experience needed to provide high-quality childcare in a safe, nurturing environment. My qualifications include:
• Safeguarding Training – Ensuring the safety and well-being of every child in my care.
• DBS Checked – Fully background checked and cleared for working with children.
• Paediatric First Aid Certified – Trained to respond confidently and effectively in emergency situations.
• Health & Safety Training – Knowledgeable in maintaining a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment.
• One Year of Nursery Experience – Hands-on experience working in a professional nursery setting with children from newborn to age 10.
• Experienced Babysitter/Nanny – Over 8 years of personal and professional experience caring for children in a one-to-one setting.

These qualifications, combined with my genuine love for children and one-to-one care, allow me to offer a service that is not only safe and reliable but also warm, engaging, and child-focused.

My Availability

I currently offer childcare services during the following hours:
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM

I’m happy to offer some flexibility with hours if arranged in advance. Please feel free to reach out to discuss your needs — I’ll always do my best to accommodate where possible.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £9.50 per hour

My childcare services start at £10 per hour, but I understand that every family’s situation is unique. I’m flexible with my pricing depending on:
• The number of children
• The hours required
• Any specific needs or circumstances
