My Requirements

I’m looking for a caring, reliable childminder to look after my 7-year-old daughter after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays during term time, starting in September 2026.

About the role

Tuesdays
Collect her from St Joseph’s School at 3:15pm, bring her home, prepare a snack, and spend time with her while she relaxes and plays. I work from home and usually finish between 5:00pm and 5:30pm. Help getting her tea started would be greatly appreciated.

Thursdays
Collect her from school at 3:15pm, bring her home, and prepare her tea. She attends Brownies at 5:45pm, so she will need to have eaten before then. I will finish work between 5:00pm and 5:30pm and take her to Brownies.

Occasional additional hours
Very occasionally, I may ask whether you are available to help with the morning school run or school pick up. There may also be occasional requests to collect her from school on other days and look after her for a couple of hours. This would be completely optional and dependent on your availability.

Other details

My daughter is 7 years old. She has asthma, which is well controlled, although she may occasionally need help accessing her inhaler.

We have two rabbits at home. She loves art, crafts and imagination play with dolls.

Driving is essential, and you will need your own car.

Ideally, you will be first-aid trained, DBS checked, and a non-smoker.
