I am part of a mother and daughter team of Ofsted registered co-childminders, Francess Partridge & Patricia Songu who together form Hopanda Childcare LLP. We are located in Brislington, Bristol (near the Brislington Park and Ride) We are dedicated to offering exceptional home-based childcare services where we provide the highest standards of care. Our goal is to create a nurturing environment where children can engage in enriching activities and enjoy both spacious indoor and outdoor play areas. We are committed to supporting children’s development while ensuring their safety and happiness. We have a dog who is very calm and used to being around children.
My Experience
I've been in early years for around 10 years. Together me and my mother have combined early years experience of 30 years, most recently working together at a nursery in the city.
My Qualifications
I hold a degree in Early Years Education, and have obtained the ICP Childminding Certification. I am first aid trained, DBS checked and Safeguarding certified. My mother also holds all of these qualifications.
My Availability
We currently have one space available on Wednesdays, and there's also potential for a short-term space on Tuesdays from now until February.
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.25 per hour
Our standard childminding fee is £8.25 / hour, with a minimum of 7 hours per day. This includes snacks (fruit, crackers, etc.), enrichment activities and trips, etc. Meals are not provided.
We accept both tax free childcare and funded hours.

Francess and Patricia are wonderful childminders, and we feel so lucky to have found them. They've been taking care of our son since September 2025 and he is so happy with them. They treat him like he's a member of their family. He settled in so easily and is always excited to see them and the other children in the mornings. I feel very secure in their care which makes leaving our little boy so much easier. We love them and more importantly, so does our son!

Francess is such a loving, kind and fun childminder to my children aged 4 and 2. Having worked with Francess several years ago in a nursery, and both of us having children of our own, I was so happy to find out she’d started being a childminder. Having an insider knowledge of how she works with children and her professional experience and knowledge coupled with her warm, comforting and kind nature was an absolute no brainer to trust her to have my children. She does lots of fun activities and my children are so happy. Having a park and playing fields round the corner is a huge advantage too!
