About Me
I am a Mum of 2 grown daughters who are now living / working in London. I also have 6 godchildren! I am experienced in looking after young children / babies for friends and family over the years. I am happy to travel within Edinburgh (I am a car owner) I enjoy being with young children and engaging with them through games and conversation. I can provide personal references from friends and family in Edinburgh upon request. I am married and live in the New Town near Stockbridge. I also love cats and am happy to walk a dog. We have no pets at the moment as both our Labrador and cat died within the last few years. I am extremely patient and always interested in helping children learn and develop.
My Experience
I have babysat / looked after many young children and babies over the years for friends and family. Sometimes for just an evening or the day and sometimes for a week while their parents have been away.
My Qualifications
I have no formal.childcare qualifications but as a mother of 2 grown daughters, devoted aunt to 5 young girls and boys, and devoted godmother to 6 godchildren and now their children I do have masses of experience. I speak French and Italian.

Evening / daytime / some weekend babysitting.

I brought my mom and my daughter on a work trip and Sarah was there to help while I worked. Sarah made the entire trip amazing, below is what my mom had to say!
I was with Sarah and my 7- year-old granddaughter for two full days in Edinburgh Scotland, on vacation from the US. I can't say enough great things about Sarah. My granddaughter was very quiet the 1st day, but Sarah just kept talking with her, showing us around and guiding us through the city. By the end of the day, Elsie was getting comfortable with Sarah and started to warm up. Day 2 Elsie was immediately talking almost non-stop, totally happy to spend the day with Sarah and me. I've never seen her that comfortable with a stranger before.
An added bonus was that Sarah is as great of a tour guide as she is a nanny. We learned so much interesting history everywhere we went.
I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed her company, her warmth, and her sensitivity. I highly, highly recommend her!!!
