About Me

Hey, my name is Melody! I am an aspiring psychologist, who is very passionate about child development, faith and mental health. I am kind, gentle and easy-going, and very passionate about working with children!

My Experience

Hi! I’m a babysitter based in Guildford who is passionate about all things child development, and mental health.

I currently teach children at my local church and have over 6 months of hands-on experience creating safe, nurturing environments for children to grow and learn. I also worked at UCL’s Child Development Lab for 10 months, where I supported research into how children think, feel, and behave. My placement included supervising children ages 2.5 year to 9 years old, but I am more than capable to babysit older children. I also worked in a primary school for just under two weeks during my placement.

I’m DBS (enhanced) checked and have worked as an online tutor with MyTutor, helping young people develop confidence in both their studies and themselves.

My Qualifications

I have an enhanced DBS Check, and I am a Sociology and English GCSE tutor.

My Availability

I am available to work on most Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sunday evenings.
