About Me
I am a mum of two girls, aged 8 and 12. We have been living in the UK for six months and the girls are settling in well.
They attend school and have a private English tutor, but our main focus now is helping them build confidence, especially in speaking.
We are a calm, supportive family and I’m looking for someone kind and reliable who can create a positive, relaxed environment for them in the evenings.
My Requirements
I am looking for a reliable, warm and engaging babysitter/nanny for my two daughters (aged 8 and 12).
The position would be in the evenings, ideally from 5pm or 6pm until 8pm (latest), a few times per week (flexible to discuss).
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children — playing games, doing creative activities, reading together and encouraging natural conversation. This is not a formal tutoring role.
The girls attend school and also have a private English tutor, and they are progressing well academically. However, they have only been living in the UK for six months, so we would like to support them in building confidence in speaking English — especially our younger daughter.
The main goal is to create a relaxed, positive environment where they feel comfortable, supported and encouraged through play and everyday interaction.
We would prefer someone patient, kind and confident, who can build a good relationship with the girls and become a consistent presence in their routine.
