About Me

I’m a loving and dedicated mother of four children and I live with my husband in the Hitchin area. I have a real passion for working with children and enjoy creating safe, fun, and engaging environments where they can thrive.

I would describe myself as committed, reliable, honest, hardworking, and trustworthy. These are values I bring to everything I do whether I’m caring for my own children or supporting other families. With years of hands-on experience, I understand the importance of patience, creativity, and consistency. I enjoy outtings and spending time with family and friends.

My Experience

As a mum of four children aged two to seventeen, I have plenty of hands-on childcare experience with children of all ages.

For the past year, I’ve run a registered childminding business, providing a safe, caring home-from-home environment. I plan age-appropriate activities, support children’s development, manage routines, complete observations and keep in close contact with parents.

I’ve also provided holiday care for school-aged children, including arts and crafts, messy play, sports, outings, themed days and homework help in Maths and English.

I’ve also done long-term babysitting for family and friends, planning everything from sensory play for toddlers to structured games and outdoor activities for older children.

I’m organised, reliable and creative, and I really enjoy helping children feel happy, confident and supported.
