About Me

Maths and English Tutor up to GCSE level. Ages 4-16, SATS, 11+, Private School Examinations, Self esteem and confidence building. Qualified counsellor.

My Experience

15+ Years’ experience working in local schools as well as 1:1, and small groups, tutoring. Specialising in ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, ODD and Pathological Demand Avoidance. For the past 4 years I have worked as a tutor for small groups of primary age children who wish to sit the 11+ and/or apply to private schools. I have many years experience working 1:1 with children of all ages. I’ve also spent 6 years working with children aged 11-16 in a local school supporting their Special Educational Needs as well four years' SEN experience with children of primary age, mainly 7-11 years old.

My Qualifications

9 O’levels (now known as GCSEs) including English Language, English Literature, Maths, French and Geography.
A’level English Language, English Literature and Psychology
Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Level 3 Counselling Certificate

Brilliant Tutor

Michele is a five star tutor. She tutored my 16 year old for his GCSE English and Maths exams.
My son had missed quite a bit of school due to anxiety. Michele has a deep understanding of the issues that a teenager, either mental health and absence issues, could be facing.
She quickly built rapport and, in a calm and friendly manor was able to get him to think and embrace the challenge, without further compounding his worries.
We were extremely impressed with Michele’s experience and ability to turn things around with our son. We cannot recommend her highly enough.
