I am a 19 enthusiastic and reliable babysitter with a genuine love of working with children of all ages, with 4 years of experience helping with children I have learnt the importance of having a fun yet structured approach. I believe it is important for kids to engage in a various amount of activities to help their growth; educational, creative play and outdoor time to help them feel respected and happy.
I love to get to know the children I am working with so that they can feel safe to express themselves and speak about anything they would like to.

My Experience
I am currently an activity leader working in a primary after school club. My role enables me to work closely with the children, build a trusting relationship and help them to become the best version of themselves. We run a various amount of activities that help them to exercise their intelligence and sporting skills. I also participate and play games with them so this allows the children to feel valued, which builds emotional bonds. Within the school, we have many children who have different personalities and some who have disabilities and learning difficulties but I have learnt how to work with all the different children and cater to their needs.
I have previously done babysitting and helped a person with school runs for their 8 year old daughter ensuring she was picked up from home and dropped to school in the morning and picked up from school and dropped home. When babysitting I think that it is very important to have a fun and disciplined approach as it allows there to be structure but also trust.
Lastly, I help care for my younger sister who has cerebral palsy so this enables me to be empathetic and understanding with people who may have the same disability or a different one and I would say that I know how to work really well with them.
My Qualifications
I do not have a babysitting qualification however I do have years of experience working with children.
My Availability
My contract is 0 hours so my availability fluctuates but I don’t finish work later than 6:15 so I will be able to come right after. I can help in the evening and stay the night if necessary. In the mornings I am free to do school runs or supervise your child at home if they aren’t going to school.
