About Me

Hi my name is Naomi, I will be offering childminding by the end of the year in the Castle Cary area.

I have always loved children and that love has only grown since having my own daughter, who is now 2 years old.

I am Paediatric First Aid trained and have a background in elderly care and nursing, both in hospitals and in the community, as well as qualified in child protection.
I also have experience with potty training and baby lead weaning.

I believe in providing a nurturing environment where children can grow and learn, focusing on a natural development and encouraging curiosity through montessori play based learning.

I focus on building positive relationships with each child, encouraging their unique interests and applying key skills to those interests to help in their development.

I will be spending time both in and outside of the home joining various groups for free play and local parks in the area.
I live in an amazing area with a massive green just outside my home where we can explore the local wildlife and flora.
Inside of the home I hope to have more of a focused play group where the children will learn and be encouraged to reach milestones they need before they go to school.

I am a caring, creative and incredibly imaginative individual who is dedicated to providing a positive and engaging experience for the children in my care. I am also an avid reader and will love to engage with the children in that way.
I also love any and all sorts of crafts and will be doing many different crafts with the children.

I won't be providing any meals but will provide a morning snack for the children as well as making sure they remain well hydrated.
