About Me

Hi, im Flora!
Im a childminder, opening in January 2026! Ready to offer a nurturing, fun, and safe home-from-home environment in Shurdington. I can't wait to meet you and your little ones!

My Experience

As a mum to two little girls, I understand how hard finding the right childcare is. You want your children to be happy and safe when away from you, which is why I wanted to start childminding.
I have a degree in Early Years Education, which has shaped how I think about childcare and why we do what we do.
I am fully DBS checked and hold a Full Paediatric First Aid certificate, so your little ones will be in safe hands.
I have lots of experience working in childcare, I have worked in both nurseries and at a childminders as an assistant. All has given me a deep understanding of child development and how to meet children’s needs across various age groups.

Flora is lovely, very trusted and reliable and very good with my daughter who is a wild 1 year old. She understands the child needs and requirements and my little girl loves going to her setting
