My Experience

I have previous babysitting experience, having cared for children on several occasions for different families, including both evening and after-school care. These roles involved keeping children safe, preparing light meals, and engaging in fun, age-appropriate activities tailored to their personality and routine.

In addition to this, I’ve also looked after children informally for friends and spend a lot of time with the many young children in my immediate and extended family.

Alongside my childcare experience, I bring over 10 years of professional expertise in administration, education support, and people-focused roles. I’ve worked closely with learners in educational settings, always providing a calm, organised, and caring presence—qualities I bring to my babysitting as well.

My Qualifications

I hold a certificate in VitalSkills Safeguarding Children (Advanced) Level 2 V4.5 and am committed to child safety and wellbeing.

Although my qualifications are not specifically in childcare, they have given me valuable skills that I bring to babysitting. I hold a degree in Acting for Stage & Media and have studied Musical Theatre, which support my creativity, confidence, and ability to engage children through storytelling, games, and imaginative play.

I also hold a Level 3 Award in Principles of Management and Leadership. These experiences have strengthened my organisational skills, responsibility, and calm approach across a variety of settings.

I’m always open to learning and happy to complete First Aid training if required.

My Availability

I’m quite flexible with my time and available from early mornings to evenings, Monday to Saturday. I’m not available on Sunday mornings due to a prior commitment that finishes at 11:30 am.

Currently, I’m not offering overnight babysitting, but once I’ve had the opportunity to get to know your family better, I would be happy to consider it.
