My Experience
I have a broad range of childcare experience across both professional and voluntary settings. One summer, I was a holiday nursery assistant at Barnes Village Nursery, and during this last academic year, I volunteered at Canley Community Centre, supporting vulnerable children aged 4 to 11 through play and learning activities.
Currently, I work as a nursery assistant with Wizard Staff Solutions, where I support children aged 9 months to 5 years. My role includes helping with learning and play, and ensuring each child feels safe, supported, and engaged throughout the day.
My Qualifications
I hold an enhanced DBS check.
I successfully completed Tes’ ‘Child Protection Fundamentals’ course as well as the following courses set by the Department for Education:
• ‘Supporting physical development in the early years’
• ‘Understanding child development and the EYFS’
• ‘Supporting language development in the early years’
• ‘Mathematics’
• ‘Brain development and how children learn’
My Availability
I'm currently available for evening and weekend babysitting, and may also be available on some mornings or afternoons, depending on my nursery rota. I’ll always aim to confirm availability as early as possible and keep communication clear and timely.
