After School Nanny With Special Needs Experience Job In Exeter
About Me
We're parents to two amazing kids living in Exeter. Our oldest (10), has ADHD and ASD. He's bright, funny and full of energy, but his additional needs means he isn't able to attend school at the moment. Our younger daughter (7 years) is going to school, and loves drawing, crafting, going to the playground, playing games etc. I'm at home caring for my son and my partner works full time so we're looking for some extra help a few days a week to manage the load. We have a lovely garden and live near lots of open space so have plenty of outdoor options on our doorstep.
My Requirements
We're looking for an extra pair of hands 2 or 3 early afternoons a week (ideally 3-6pm) who is able to pick up our daughter from school, do an activity with her (and her brother if he opts in), help out with making dinner and generally be an energy injection into the house. Ideally we'd find someone with some experience of working with neurodivergent kids but not essential as long as you aren't phased by juggling multiple dinner / safe food requirements and low demand caring approaches. I will mostly be at home but may need to pop out occasionally so they'll almost always be backup available.
