Hi I'm Caitlin! I am an experienced teacher with a background in early Key Stage 2 (Years 3–4), and I’m passionate about helping children learn in fun, practical, and engaging ways. My goal is to make learning something children look forward to—where they're excited to explore new ideas and feel proud of their progress. My strenghts are in English so tutoring children who need help with reading, writing, comprehension and/or phonics is my forte. I can also tutor children maths in Key Stage 1 (year 1-2).
I have a bubbly, fun and outgoing personality. Being a qualified teacher, I naturally have a caring nature and I love connecting with children and building positive, trusting relationships. I always go the extra mile to make sure every child feels supported, safe, and confident.
Coming from a close-knit family of four, I truly value strong personal connections, and I bring that same warmth and attentiveness to every family I work with.

My Experience
Qualified teacher with experience in New Zealand for 2 1/2 years plus a years teaching in London. I also have specific experience being a 1 to 1 teacher for a year 4 boy with cerabal palsy and many learning difficulties. Being a primary school teacher, I have taught children with other additional needs like ADHD and Dyslexia.

New Zealand qualifications - Bachelor degree in Social Science majoring in Psychology and Human Development
Postgraduate diploma in primary teaching
NCEA level 1,2,3 (equivalent to GCSE and A levels)
