About Me

Hi I’m Fran,

A wife and mum to 4 busy and energetic boys 13, 10, 3 1/2 and 2 1/2.

I currently work part time for a really lovely family housekeeping/nannying, but I’m looking to take on a few more hours a week when I’m not working for them.

I’ve been in childcare for over 20 years and have a Btec HND in care, as well as a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling.

I’m passionate about children and their development , which probably comes from a subconscious influence from my mum who’s been in early years education her whole adult life-from owning her own successful nursery to working at a school, to lecturing Early Years-teaching and guiding those who also have a passion of working with children.

I took time off to be around for my family as much as I can, and prior to that my experience is nannying (0 years-9 years), working at a school for 10 years where I was a manager of the before and after school club-working with children from 4 years to 11 years, and working within the school on a 121 basis with a gorgeous boy who was autistic.

Working with children, whether someone else’s or my own has literally been all I know. I’m passionate about what I do and I believe that reflects in my work.

Apart from looking after children, if I get the chance I enjoy keeping fit-in particular running. I love food and cooking as does my husband. Food and meal time is a big part of our family core-cooking together and eating together is where we notice conversations start and flow. I also enjoy fashion.

As well as children, I’m passionate about natural, non toxic skincare products that are good for the whole family, and as such I’m a proud ambassador for Tropic skincare in my own time.

I’m looking for a part time housekeeping/nanny role.
