My Summary

My Experience

During my final year of school I have gained hands on experience helping with children in and out of a classroom. I have volunteered in my school’s early years supporting the children through play and daily routines. I have also been volunteering with the Primary 1 class during my free periods.

During this time I have supported neurodiverse children, joined in play activities, assisted with classroom learning, PE and during lunchtimes.

The staff regard me as an integral member of their team and I have also helped in extracurricular activities such as school discos and took part in Forest Schools.

I am regarded as someone the children can rely upon when they are upset and I often comfort them, set boundaries and help manage their friendships and interactions positively.

My Qualifications

•Starting HNC Childhood practice course at West college Scotland in August
