My name is Maddy and I’m currently working as a supply teacher for primary schools! I live in Hove with my partner and our 2 cats, Reggie and Vinnie! I enjoy reading and going to the gym in my spare time.
My Experience
I completed my PGCE in 2025, working in 2 different schools in Brighton, in Early Years and Year 5. My first childcare role was in a nursery where I cared for children aged 6 months - 5 years, planning activities to aid development. Since January 2026 I have been working as a supply teacher across primary schools in Sussex, stepping in for absences and quickly establishing a rapport with the class to foster a safe and supportive learning environment.
My Qualifications
I hold a PGCE in Primary Education from the University of Sussex, where I was awarded merit. I also have QTS from this course.
I have a DBS certificate on the update system.
In my undergraduate degree I studied Social Sciences at the University of Brighton, where I received a 2:1.
My Availability
I am available Monday - Friday during the day. I would consider ad hoc babysitting in the evenings or occasional weekends.

- Babysitting from £17.00 per hour
- Nannying from £22.00 per hour (gross)
