We’ve had a great experience with Maria over the past 10 months. Our son joined when he was 1 year and 10 months old, and he has been happy, engaged and well cared for throughout. He settled quickly with Maria and Carlos and building a routine has been invaluable for us. The setting offers a range of activities that keep the children occupied (including Children’s Centres, parks, farms, and church play sessions), and he has formed lovely friendships with a small group of children of a similar age. We really value the photos Maria shares during the day, it’s reassuring to see what they’ve been up to while he’s away from us.

One area where we’ve seen meaningful progress is in his speech. He started speaking a little later than expected, but with the support of NHS sessions alongside Maria’s encouragement and day-to-day engagement, his development has improved noticeably over the past few months.

We’ve also appreciated the care provided when he has been unwell, including administering prescribed medication appropriately and keeping us informed. We’re now starting potty training, following Maria’s guidance that he is ready, and are looking forward to working through this next stage.

Overall, we value the care provided and the positive environment our son has experienced, and would gladly recommend Maria.

I’ll be delighted to share another brief reflection once our son transitions to school in due course.
