About Me
As a nanny I aim to be firm but fair; primarily I simply wish to create a safe space that is warm and welcoming for the children where they can learn and play while encouraging them to reach their developmental milestones. Personally, I love imaginative play as I believe it offers great insight into the child's mind and helps to build a rapport. I also love to bake, so I try to incorporate that if and when I can.
I have been a nanny for the past five years and they have been some of the most fulfilling years yet. I unfortunately had to leave my previous family due to their three eldest starting school and not needing full-time hours anymore. It has been an absolute pleasure and a privilege to care for so many children and be welcomed into so many homes and made to feel a part of the family. As a result, I am very eager to start a new chapter and find a new nanny family.
My Experience
I have worked with a couple families in my 4 years of experience, the ages of the children ranging from newborn through to 7. Within these roles I have had a plethora of responsibilities including:
- taking the children to and from school and extra curricular activities
- taking them on day trips
- bath and bedtime routine
- preparing breakfast and lunch (occasionally dinner)
- aiding in learning and development through play

I have a foundation degree in early years education.
