About Me

Hi,
My name is Caitlin and I am 26 years old, I live in the greaterleys area.

Ever since my work experience job back in school, I always knew working in childcare was always my passion.

I put this down due to my personal life, i am not only one of seven children, I have always had young family members to look after aswell as my special needs brother.
I was a personal carer for my brother up to recently when he passed away. I would always try to make his days as bright and beautiful as I could. And I would love to think I did.

I would describe myself as happy, positive and fun as well as professional, passionate and trustworthy!

I really have met so many wonderful families working in childcare the last 6 years!

When I turned 20 years old I found my dream job in Culham, working as a nursery assistant. There, I met multiple families and children that trusted me so much to then move my services to their homes to babysit!
I now have families I look after who are no longer just a job to me, but also family to myself!

I have been there through siblings being born, Nannie's for weddings and even holidays with these families to share birthdays!
My life has been so beautiful since my childcare work life started.
I feel very lucky.

I stayed there for 4 years when I then unfortunately needed to move jobs closer to home.
My younger brother unfortunately passed away due to his needs recently, which has led me to my new job.
I have now been in my current nursery job for the last year and a half.
I would love to think that my work life rubbed off at home as I did everything in me to make sure my brother had a beautiful life.
I carry this with me wherever I may go in life!

After my brother passed i realised I had fallen pregnant with my first little baby.
Who is now nearly 5 months old.
Being on maternity leave but having a child made me realised how much I miss it and do not want my passion to stop for this time being.
Although she is my first baby I have a stepdaughter I raise also. She is now 7 years old.

This could be fun if you have child similar ages? Although it is it a nessicity ofcourse.

I was a few months away from finishing my level 3 childcare qualification before my brother passed which unfortunately led me to completely stop the process so I am unfortunately not classed as qualified.

I would like to express how passionate the families I look after are about my services and care.
I have been trusted in every aspect of a parent with their children as I know how scary it would be to leave them with a "stranger".
I like to say, it's only a stranger for a short while before it's a friend!

I now take my baby with me to babysit and have fun with others and to socialise! This again, is not a nessicity.
I will try my best to be as flexible as I can and hope I can be of help when it is needed for you!
