I'm Akash Thomas currently pursuing Occupational and Business psychology at the Kingston University doing part time at Axcis Education as teaching assistant.
My Experience
I'm currently working as a teaching assistant at Axcis Education, and I have experience looking after young children, including those with special educational needs.
I've had great experiences successfully communicating with people younger than me and teaching them in various subjects, especially science, computer studies, and maths.
Since childhood, I took care of my brother, and we have an 8-year age difference, which gave me the responsibility as a brother as well as the power of a guardian. Watching him grow up in my hands, I always thought I could take good care of children, and that's what my family always says.
While working with kids, I feel relaxed and responsible at the same time, and I'm in love with that kind of feeling. Further, I learned psychology, which helped me understand them more. Through that, I've helped kids a lot in my hometown and in the UK since I arrived.
