About Me

Hello! My name is Lucy and I bring over 14 years of dedicated experience in childcare. I hold a Level 6 qualification in Early Years Education, I am fully DBS checked, First Aid certified, and have a full driving license.

I’m a creative and outgoing person who loves to incorporate fun and learning into every day—whether that’s through nature walks, story time, or sensory and messy play activities tailored to each child’s age and interests. I believe in creating a nurturing, stimulating environment where children can explore, grow, and feel truly safe and supported.
I'm currently seeking a part-time position and would love the opportunity to bring my 1-year-old daughter and baby son with me. However, I'm happy to discuss arrangements that work well for the right family.

I understand that bringing my own children may raise questions, but I can confidently say it will not affect the quality of care I provide. Throughout my career, I've cared for multiple children of different ages simultaneously, including in previous nanny positions where I supported two families. Managing the individual needs, routines, and development of several children at once is something I am highly experienced and comfortable with.

My own children have only strengthened my understanding of children's needs and development, and I am committed to ensuring every child in my care receives the same level of attention, warmth, and engagement.

I pride myself on being reliable, adaptable, and genuinely passionate about supporting children and families. With over 15 years of professional childcare experience, a BA (Hons) in Childhood and Youth Studies, enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid, and food hygiene qualifications, I provide a safe, nurturing, and professional environment where children can thrive.
