My Experience

I’m 24 and excited to be returning to childcare after a short break to further pursue my education. I started providing childcare for private families at 16 and through positive word-of-mouth alone curated a network of families who were able to rely on me for high-quality regular nannying across a variety of schedules and responsibilities. I’ve maintained a positive and warm relationship with each family and am happy and able to provide references.

My Qualifications

I started gathering hands-on experience very young and so many of my methods and skills were learned first-hand. I have however made the effort to research and familiarise myself with various childcare philosophies including Norland, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia methods; I most closely identify with Montessori principles but I understand the value of each and am happy to follow whatever philosophy the parents/guardians prefer. I have also undertaken some courses on childhood development that are detailed in my CV.

My Availability

My availability is highly flexible and my boundaries around time off and overnight duties and such will be subject to the nature of each role.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)

Highly flexible, dependent on factors such as responsibilities.
