About Me
Hello!
My name is Shadie and I run Kiki’s Little Explorers, a warm and stimulating home-based childcare setting in Horsham. I am now a fully Ofsted-registered childminder, offering full-time and part-time care for children aged 0 to 5 years.
As a mum of three, with a Master’s in Behavioural Science and over 14 years of experience supporting children and training teachers and teaching assistants, I understand the importance of providing personalised, nurturing care that supports each child’s individual development.
My setting includes a bright, child-safe indoor play space, a playful garden with a variety of activities, and a thoughtfully planned daily routine with interactive play, story time, music, movement, and plenty of outdoor exploration.
I provide healthy, home-cooked meals, along with essentials such as nappies and wipes, and I’m happy to accommodate allergies or dietary needs. I also share regular progress updates so you can stay connected with your child’s learning and milestones.

I am an Ofsted-registered childminder with over 14 years of experience working with children from birth to 18 years old across nurseries, schools, and family homes.
I hold a Master’s degree in Behavioural Science and have spent many years supporting children’s early development through play-based learning, structured routines, and nurturing, responsive care.
As a mum of three, including a toddler, I understand how important it is to feel confident that your little one is safe, happy, and truly cared for while you’re away. That’s exactly what I aim to provide at Kiki’s Little Explorers a calm, caring, and stimulating home-from-home environment where every child is supported to grow, learn, and thrive.
I’m passionate about creating a setting where children feel secure, valued, and excited to explore, with a rich mix of indoor and outdoor activities tailored to their interests, needs, and developmental stage.
