Hello!
My name is Shadie and I run Kiki’s Little Explorers, a warm and stimulating home-based childcare setting in Horsham. I am currently in the final stages of registering with Ofsted and will be offering full-time and part-time care for children aged 0 to 5 years.
As a mum of three with a background in behavioural science and over 14 years’ experience supporting children and training teachers and teaching assistants, I understand the importance of providing personalised care that supports each child’s development.
My setting includes a bright, child-safe indoor play space, a playful garden with lots of activities, and a carefully planned daily routine that includes interactive play, story time, music, movement, and outdoor exploration.
I provide healthy, home-cooked meals and essentials (nappies, wipes, etc.), and I’m happy to accommodate allergies. I also offer regular progress reports to keep you updated on your child’s development.

My Experience
I have over 14 years of experience working with children from birth to 18 years old in a range of settings including nurseries, schools, and family homes.
I hold a Master’s degree in Behavioural Science and have spent many years supporting children’s early development through play-based learning, structured routines, and nurturing care.
As a mum of three, including a toddler, I understand how important it is to feel confident that your child is safe, happy, and supported while you're away. That’s exactly what I aim to offer at Kiki’s Little Explorers, a calm, caring, and stimulating home environment where every child is encouraged to grow, learn, and thrive.

My Availability
I am typically available Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM for babysitting while I await my Ofsted registration.
Once registration is complete, I will be offering full childminding services. I already have a waiting list for childcare spaces, but priority will be given to families I’m currently working with during this pre-registration period.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
Babysitting (pre-registration period):
£10 per hour (minimum 2 hours per session)
Includes access to all toys and activities.
Meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks) is extra £5 each day
Full childminding (post-Ofsted registration):
£80 per day (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
£50 per half day (up to 5 hours)
Includes nappies, wipes, and outings.

Deposit & Payments:
A holding deposit will be required to secure your space once a start date is agreed.
Payments are made monthly in advance.
