My Requirements

We have two boys, from January they will be ages 3 and 1. On a Tuesday, we are looking for daycare for my 1 year old approx 8-5/6pm. Looking for someone with pediatric first aid, DBS check and ideally childcare qualifications.

Providing warm, attentive and developmentally appropriate care for our one year old, on a Tuesday and potentially a Friday.

Building a secure, nurturing and trusting relationship with him and supporting his individual personality, interests and development.

Planning and organising interesting, age-appropriate activities, classes, outings and experiences, working with me.

Maintaining a safe and secure environment at all times, ensuring his play areas are free from choking hazards and potential dangers, and that there are no accessible places where he could fall or otherwise hurt himself.

Encouraging plenty of outdoor play, walks and opportunities to explore and discover the world around him.

Supporting a Montessori-inspired, child-led approach to play and learning within the home.
Enjoying reading, music, sensory activities, imaginative play, baking, arts and crafts and other creative activities together.

Following and supporting his established sleep and nap routines.

Preparing healthy, safe and age appropriate nutritious meals and snacks for the children, and tidying up afterwards.

Occasionally dropping off and collecting our 3 year old if needed from nursery.

Taking care of the children’s laundry and, where possible, helping with family laundry.
Keeping the children’s bedrooms, play areas, toys and belongings organised and tidy.

Carrying out light family housekeeping associated with the children and helping to keep the household running smoothly.
