About Me
I’m a single mum living in the Lichfield area with my 5-year-old son, who is a happy, playful little boy. He is low-functioning autistic and currently attends a mainstream school.
We moved to the area after I separated from his father, and I don’t have any local family support, so I’m looking for a reliable and understanding babysitter or carer to help me a few hours a week.
My Requirements
Ideally, I’m looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children with autism
Is patient and willing to build a gradual bond with my son, as he doesn’t trust new people straight away
Can collect him from school and look after him in the afternoons
May also be available for occasional overnight care in the future
I do have financial support in place to cover childcare, and I’m looking for someone trustworthy, nurturing, and flexible who understands the unique needs of an autistic child.
