My Requirements

Part-Time Live-Out Nanny – West Dulwich
Start Date: Late August 2025
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Children: One toddler (14 months old) + newborn due September 23, 2025
Location: West Dulwich, London
Pets: One friendly Chocolate Labrador

This is a Part-Time position caring for two young children, but responsibilities will primarily focus on one child at a time (e.g., alternating half days or full days between each child). The exact structure is still to be finalized, so flexibility and a team-minded attitude are essential.

We would love the nanny to start in late August, to help establish a relationship with our son before the arrival of our new baby. Our current part-time nanny (whom our son adores) is returning to her previous career, and sadly won’t be able to continue in a full-time capacity.

Important September Availability:
We will need our nanny to be available at short notice in September when labour begins. This may include overnight stays at our home during the hospital period, until either a family member arrives or my husband can return. This support is a crucial part of the role in those early days.

Ideal Candidate Qualities:
Fluent English speaker
Warm, engaging, and nurturing
Proactive, organised, and confident with children under 2
Happy to take the children out and about (e.g., playgroups, parks, classes)
Comfortable with light child-related household duties:
- Meal prep and clean-up
- Toy rotation and organisation
- Occasional children’s laundry
Comfortable with dogs – we have a lovely 5-year-old Chocolate Labrador
Open to occasional weekend/evening babysitting (and possible family travel)
