About Me
We’re a friendly family living on Glasgow’s south side, settling into life with our 1-year-old twins and our lively Parson Russell terrier—he’s full of energy and keeps the mood upbeat around here.
Come October, I’ll be heading back to work, and we’re looking for someone to join our household for daytime support. I work from home, and my partner works remotely one day a week, which leaves the twins needing a steady, caring presence during the day.
We moved here from London three years ago and are still mid-renovation on our Victorian townhouse. My mum has also moved up and lives with us now—she’s always happy to lend a hand when it's needed, so you’ll rarely be on your own.
We believe in teamwork, enjoy a bit of noise and motion, and would love someone who can fit right into the mix—help keep our twins happy, safe, and thriving.
My Requirements
We're a warm family based on Glasgow’s south side, looking for someone special to care for our nearly 1-year-old twins starting this October. Here’s what we’re hoping you’ll bring to our little team:
Experience with infants — especially twins — and a calming, patient approach to their ups and downs. A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate, PVG/DBS checks and glowing references.
Hands-on and caring style — we value someone who is nurturing and attentive, not just task-oriented. Think of yourself as part of the family’s rhythm, not just a checklist of duties.
Flexible, realistic help around the home — while your main focus is the twins (feeding, developmental play, keeping them safe), being okay with our energetic dog roaming about is important. We promise he’s lively but harmless!
Down-to-earth communication and dependability — it’s important that you’re reliable and can communicate clearly about schedules, needs, or any changes. This creates a respectful and trusting working relationship.
A bit of teamwork spirit — with both parents working from home (one day a week for my husband), renovations in progress, and my mum on hand for backups, we’re all about pulling together. We’d love someone comfortable fitting into that dynamic.
