About Me
Hi, I’m Tom! I’m a qualified teacher based in North Wales, and I offer 1-to-1 tutoring in English and Maths for primary and early secondary learners (KS1–KS3).
My sessions are calm, tailored, and built around helping children feel more confident, capable, and supported — whether they’re catching up, need a little boost, or just want to stay on top of things before September.
I’ve also worked with learners with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and dyslexia, and always aim to create a positive and patient learning environment.
I travel to students’ homes Conwy county and Bangor area, or can offer online sessions if that works better for your family.
My Experience
I’m a qualified teacher with several years’ experience working across Key Stage 1, 2, and 3 in schools across North Wales. I’ve taught a wide range of learners, from those working at greater depth to those who benefit from targeted support in core skills.
I’ve also supported pupils with ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, speech and language needs, and other learning differences, helping them build confidence and progress at their own pace. I understand that every child learns differently, and my sessions are always calm, encouraging, and tailored to suit the individual.
Alongside tutoring, I also coach football and run IQ Football Coaching — so I’m very used to engaging with children in different environments and helping them feel comfortable, motivated, and focused.

BA Hons in Primary Education with QTS at Bangor University
