Flexible, Attentive, and Supportive of My Child’s

Darshna looks after my child so well. She’s super flexible and reliable, and meals, play, and nap times are always consistent. She encourages learning through play and keeps me updated on my child’s day via an app. I really appreciate the care and attention she gives. 100% recommend!

Not the right fit for my son

My son attended Rebecca’s setting for a few months. Unfortunately, our experience was not as positive as we had hoped.

The contract was ended following a situation where we were slightly late, and we were later informed there was no further availability. There are also late collection charges in place (for example, £8.50 for around five minutes), which I personally felt were high and added pressure around pick-up times.

My son was still in the process of settling, which is very normal at his age. I felt he would have benefited from more time and support during this transition. I did not always feel that his needs during the settling phase were fully supported.

At times, my son appeared unsettled after attending and would come home upset, which as a parent was difficult to see.

During pick-ups, I did not always feel a warm or welcoming atmosphere, which made communication feel a bit uncomfortable at times.

There was also a high consumables charge of £15 per day and while activities such as Forest School and Heart Beeps were mentioned, we did not personally see these take place during the time my son attended, which was a little disappointing.

I was also a little confused to see that days which were initially unavailable for my son were later advertised as available for another child. This gave me the impression that the setting may not have been the right fit for him personally, rather than this being due to scheduling conflicts.

From my experience, the setting seemed better suited to children who are already very settled and independent. A more patient and flexible approach may be needed for younger children who require additional reassurance while adjusting.

Since leaving this setting, my son has settled very well in another environment and is much happier, which reinforces that this was simply not the right fit for him.
