About Me
Hi! We’re a small, friendly family living in Selkirk, in the Scottish Borders. We have a baby girl, Thea, who will be turning one in August. She’s a bright, active, and curious little girl who loves the outdoors, music, and lots of one-on-one attention.
I work from home running my own small business and I’ve just started a new role managing a startup, so things are about to get very busy over the next couple of months. I’ve always planned my work around Thea, but I don’t want to reach the stage of burnout — so I’m looking for someone reliable and caring to help lighten the load one or two days a week.
We also have two cats and a dog, so you’d need to be comfortable with pets!
We’re looking for someone kind, trustworthy, and warm who genuinely enjoys spending time with babies and toddlers
My Requirements
Thea is a bright, energetic, and very curious baby who thrives on constant stimulation and interaction — she loves playing, exploring, and being kept busy. She’s been walking since 7 months old, so she’s very active and keeps you on your toes!
We follow a strict no screen time approach (apart from music on YouTube) and really value outdoor time — Thea loves being out in nature, so someone happy to get out for walks and little adventures is ideal.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with babies — reading, singing, dancing, exploring, and keeping her entertained while I focus on work for a few hours.
