About Me

I am someone who provides myself on building a good rapport with my students and creating an environment where children can learn, ask questions and learn from their mistakes. I have been tutoring full time for the past 4 years in addition to teaching part time also. I provide schedules for parents so they can keep track of what their child is learning and will go at a pace that suits the child and not myself.

My Experience

I have been teaching for 22 years, across both Key Stages and have taught in Year 1 up to Year 5. I have a good awareness of where children need to be taken on their learning journey and the foundations that need to be put in place to achieve further success. I am very familiar with tutoring children for the Year 6 Sats and have tutored 15 out of 90 children in my current school's Year 6 cohort.
