Hi, my name is Lucy. I am 23 years old. I am focused on engaging children through play and creative activities. I am personally a very creative person and I love hands on activities. I am also a big fan of animals so there is no trouble if there are pets in the house. My approach is around fostering a fun and supportive environment where children can learn and thrive. I am passionate about providing excellent care tailored to each child and family's needs. I believe the most important part of looking after children is building relationships as this forms the foundation for trust and communication, I want children to feel safe and comfortable with me allowing for them to be themselves and enjoy their time in my care.
My Experience
I am currently doing a degree in primary teaching, i am going into my third year. Throughout my degree i have been doing placements in primary schools, this has provided me with a robust foundation of practical skills and a deeper understanding of children that are directly transferable to providing exceptional childcare. I have spent time in a special needs school and worked with children with a range of needs, particularly Autism and ADHD. While a school environment has a different structure than a home, the core principles of child development, engagement, and care remain the same. My practical experience complements my academic knowledge, enabling me to provide high-quality, informed care.
Aside from my degree I have babysitting experience in my local area, this has been a valuable experience for me and has provided a deeper understanding of caring for children in a home setting.

- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
£13+ per hour for one child, with an additional £2 per hour for each extra child.
