My Experience

I have a wide range of experience working with children across different settings and age groups. I’ve spent 6 years as a nanny, caring for children from 6 months to beyond. My duties have included everything from feeding, play, and sleep routines to planning activities that support learning and development.

I have also worked full-time as a teaching assistant in a school nursery, where I further developed my skills in early years education, supporting both individual and group learning.

I’ve taken on various roles through an agency, including work as support staff, cover supervisor, nursery assistant, and teaching assistant. This has given me hands-on experience across different key stages, age groups, and classroom environments. Through these roles, I’ve developed the ability to adapt quickly, support a wide range of learning and behavioural needs, and work confidently in both early years and primary settings.

Over the summer I worked as a play worker, leading fun, active, and creative sessions for children during the holidays.

These varied roles have helped me build strong skills in adapting to different needs, forming positive relationships, and creating a nurturing, engaging environment where children can thrive.

My Qualifications

Nannying course. Safeguarding Level 1 and 2. Degree in Sociology. Basic Peadtric First Aid. Environments in Early Years.

My Availability

I am flexible and available during the evening and on weekends. I am also looking for a full time role.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £17.00 per hour

I am happy to do babysitting and ad hoc nannying. At the moment I charge £17 per hour.
