My Summary

My Experience

I have 6 months experience as an au pair in Spain, where I cared for a 4 year old boy from 7am-4pm Monday to Friday. This was a live in position where I also helped with housework and meal preps. During this time I taught him English through play and also In a sit down learning environment. I prepared meals and organised both activities inside or days out to keep the little one engaged and occupied. In this position I had to be cautious of allergies the little one had. So this is something I feel comfortable dealing with.

I was also a regular babysitter for twins from the newborn stage up until they started nursery at 3/4. I mainly fed them at night and got them ready and put to bed. But did occasionally watch them through the day when I was required.

I am passionate about children learning through play as I myself learn better hands on and feel this would’ve helped my tremendously as a child.

My Qualifications

I have no formal childcare qualifications although I feel I have plenty hands on experience.
I have also completed baby and child first aid course through a company called “mini first aid”. This course covered cpr on babies and small children as well as minor burns, injuries and what to do in the case of a child choking.
I have a full uk driving license and own my own car if this should be required. I also don’t mind travelling.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.60 per hour
• Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
