Babysitter in High Wycombe
My Summary
About Me
Hi! I’m currently studying Psychology, having previously studied Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have a strong passion for working with children and supporting families in a caring and compassionate way.
Alongside informal childcare for friends and family, I’ve gained formal hands-on experience over the past six months. I have worked closely with a three-year-old and a four-month-old. This role involved supporting daily routines, play and creating a calm, nurturing environment. As the family is now moving back to Spain, I am looking for a new family to continue my work as a nanny.
My academic background has given me a solid understanding of child development, attachment, and emotional well-being, which strongly shapes my approach to childcare. I prioritise creating a safe and happy space where children can feel secure and supported.
A bit about me: I love being outdoors and enjoy encouraging children to explore. I believe fresh air and active play are so important for a child’s physical and emotional development.
I am First Aid trained, with safety always being a top priority. I’m also warm, responsible, and easy to get along with!
I would love the opportunity to support your family; whether on a regular basis or as needed.
My Experience
Over the past few years, I’ve gained a range of childcare experience through both informal and formal roles. Caring for children is something I genuinely enjoy and feel confident doing.
Informally, I’ve supported friends and family with childcare for children of various ages. From babies through to school-aged children. This has included helping with feeding, playtime, routines, homework support, allowing me to build a natural hands-on understanding of children’s needs across different stages of development.
More recently, I’ve gained formal experience over the past six months. I have been working with a wonderful family and their children; a three-year-old and a four-month-old in a nannying role. Alongside childcare, I also assisted with cooking, light cleaning, and general household duties, helping to keep the home organised and supporting the family as a whole.
As the family is now moving back to Spain, I’m seeking a new family to continue my work as a nanny.
