About Me
I am a 27 year old Primary School Teacher from Sydney, Australia. I have been living in London for 2.5 years and I love to travel, meet new people and make the most of being here! I enjoy working with children and have a fun and silly side, however, as a teacher I also know the importance of setting boundaries and sticking to routines.
My Experience
I have taught in London for 2.5 years and 3 years of teaching experience prior to living here. I am currently working in a Nursery class and tutor a Reception child. I have experience working with a range of year groups across different Primary school but have spent most of my time working with ages 3-7. I have done supply work which has taught me to think on the spot and take initiative! I have also worked with a range of EAL and SEN children and strive to differentiate the curriculum to ensure that all children can access it. I am passionate about developing positive relationships with children to foster a love of learning! As well as teaching, I also have lots of baby sitting experiences. I have done casual sits through apps before and regularly sat a one year old for over a year until they moved away.
My Qualifications
Bachelor of Primary Education - University of Notre Dame Australia 2016
As a trained teacher, I have a current DBS and regularly attend Safeguarding, First Aid and Anaphylaxis training.
My Availability
I am available for one off baby sitting jobs but would also hope to create relationships for regular sits. I am flexible and looking for families who can also be flexible!
I am also looking for some tutoring work over the holidays with the aim of revising and keeping children's skills up over the break or to catch up and learn new content and skills before starting the new school year! I am open to continuing these once the school term resumes.
