My Experience

I’m a qualified Speech and Language Therapist with a strong background in paediatrics and special needs. I currently work in a special needs school, which gives me the summer off, a perfect time for me to offer childcare support to families.

In addition to my professional training, I have hands-on experience as both a babysitter and an au pair. These roles have given me valuable insight into the day-to-day care of children, from playtime and routines to emotional support and communication. My experience spans working with children of all ages and abilities, and I’m confident in adapting to a variety of needs and family dynamics.

My Qualifications

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Cape Town, where I developed a strong foundation in child development, communication disorders, and therapeutic techniques. I am First Aid trained and have an up-to-date DBS check, ensuring that I meet the highest standards of safety and care. Additionally I have a valid drivers license
