About Me

Hello! I'm a newly Ofsted-registered childminder and a mother to my 2-year-old daughter, Maia. I'm really excited for this new chapter, and I think Maia is going to really enjoy spending the time with other little ones too. We live near Farncombe Station with our two friendly indoor rabbits!

I'm kind, patient, empathetic, organised and calm, and I find it an absolute joy caring for little ones and seeing them learn, grow and develop, with their own unique personalities and interests. I believe all children deserve nurturing, individualised care from a caregiver who wholeheartedly loves their role, believes in the child and responds to who they are, to best support their wellbeing and development.

My Experience

I have always adored caring for and playing with babies and young children, and as a mother I'm highly responsive, nurturing and engaged. I follow a gentle/conscious approach and deeply believe in the importance of secure attachments, co-regulation and respectful leadership, and the positive effects these have on learning and development. I think it's important not to rush little ones from one thing to the next, but to have familiar routines to help them feel secure, calm and happy.

My Qualifications

Childminding UK Introductory Training Course (Ofsted Recognised)
BSc in Psychology
I am committed to completing additional Childminding UK CPD certified courses and modules to continue developing my knowledge and skills.
Full Paediatric First Aid Certificate
