My Requirements
We’re looking for some gentle, one-to-one help for our daughter Evelyn, who is currently 7 years old, heading into year 3 in September. She’s a lovely, bright child but is behind with her writing and spelling, and we’re keen to support her confidence and learning without waiting too long.
The school is keeping an eye on her in terms of possible dyslexia ( It does run in the family). They’ve tried coloured overlays in class, but haven’t identified anything specific at this stage, and have said that no formal assessments will take place until she’s around age 9.
In the meantime, we’d like to do what we can to help her make progress, especially if it turns out that dyslexia isn’t the cause.
