Hello, I am a mum of a soon to be one-year old baby boy and in search of a nanny to look after him and care for him as I - sadly- have to return and transition myself back to work. I work as a technology consultant. This is a particular difficult period for me as I have exclusively breastfed, contact napped and held my baby for all these months.
My partner and I are advocates of the philosophy behind the Montessori method and mainly the respect by which we treat and choose to see our child and raise him with love, patience, high nurture and co-regulation.
My Requirements
Initially, we are looking for a nanny that can be with us 4 days a week for about 4 hours per day after 13:30.
We are after someone with a sound understanding of child psychology and stages of child development. Someone who can hold and nurture our baby unconditionally. Someone who has a creative mindset and can create stimulating environment for our little one to learn new things and skills. In addition, we are also after someone who can follow the baby lead weaning method, ensure our baby is feeding properly and clean after him. Proficient first aid and CPR skills, DBS check, references and at least a few years of working experience.
