About Me
I'm Naima, I come from a big family and have always loved being around children. My work in childcare ignited my passion for optimal early years development, I kept travelling deeper into the root of where life begins, and this led me into the field of midwifery. I have such a passion for nourishing foundations - the initial foundation being gestation and motherhood. I completed a midwifery degree, but upon graduation decided in-system midwifery wasn't for me, and I am now in the process of starting my own independent birth work business so I can bring all of my expertise together in a unique offering.
My Experience
I have a wide range of experience supporting families. I completed two childcare diplomas in Paris and worked as a nanny and a childcare intern as part of this training. I have worked for families as a nanny for children from 2.5 years old -11 years old. During my midwifery degree, I also undertook placements within hospital and community settings where I gained ample experiences supporting and caring for newborns, supporting healthy breastfeeding. I also have experience supporting my sisters during the motherhood journey: supporting them in birth, early postpartum and onwards. I have been a grounded and supportive presence in the lives of my niece and nephews.
My Qualifications
BSc Midwifery
Two French diplomas in childcare, child development and child psychology - CAP Petite Enfance and Titre Professionnel Accueillant Éducatif.
My Availability
I am looking for part-time work that collaborates well with my current work setting up my own business. I am flexible and can be available any time of day upon arrangement and what works best for you. I am looking to work 15 hours a week.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Doulas from £20.00 per hour
My fees will change depending on the level of support needed and the hours required.
