About Me
We are a couple living in Edinburgh - West Tollcross area - and expecting our baby girl in February 2026. I (Eirini) work as a primary teacher in an independent school, so I will require term-time childcare only, but on a full-time basis during those weeks. Our working hours are between 8-5 every day.
My Requirements
We are looking for a childminder who is:
- Experienced in caring for babies and young children, with a background in early years.
- Able to provide a warm, safe and nurturing “home away from home” environment.
- Available term-time only, full-time hours, starting from February 2027 when I return to work after maternity leave.
- We would ideally opt for a childminder near our area as we do not own a car and will have to commute on foot or by bus.
We would love to get to know someone who can help give our daughter the very best start in her early years, and with whom we can build a trusting and long-term relationship.
