Part Time Nanny | Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday | 1pm to 6pm

About us

We are a friendly family of four with two working parents and two children, aged 5 and 2. Our daughter is at school and our son attends nursery in the mornings. We also have two friendly cats, so you’ll need to be comfortable around pets.

Our daughter is creative, curious and imaginative, while our 2 year old son is very active and loves being outdoors. We live close to a lovely park, so we’d love someone who enjoys getting out and about with him, weather permitting.

The role

We are looking for a warm, reliable and energetic nanny to join us Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 1pm to 6pm, all year round.

The role will include:

• Collecting our son from nursery at around 1pm, depending on his nap schedule

• Collecting our daughter from school at either 3.15pm or 4.15pm, depending on after school clubs

• Planning fun and age appropriate activities and getting outdoors with our son

• Helping our daughter with light homework and reading

• Preparing and serving dinner

• Managing the children’s afternoon and early evening routine

• Light child related tasks, such as children’s laundry, meal preparation and tidying up after the children

During school holidays, our daughter will usually attend holiday clubs, so the role will involve collecting her in the afternoon and caring for both children afterwards.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who can drive and has a clean driving licence, although this isn’t essential if you can manage the collections reliably without a car.

We’d love to find someone who genuinely enjoys being around children, is proactive and caring, and is looking for a long term role as part of a happy family.
