About Me
Dear parents,
My name is Rosana. I have been living and working with children in Leicester during the past 10 years, as a private childcare provider and as a Teaching Assistant and HLTA in Special Needs Schools.
I am bilingual, as I speak fluent English and Spanish is my first language.
I am looking to provide childcare locally during the school holidays (or evening and weekends occasional baby-sitting during term time). I do not drive, so I am looking for a family in my neighbourhood (WESTCOTES).
I am the perfect candidate for a family that is looking for childcare and learning support in one person for their children.
I am specialised in communication for children with SEN. I have been trained by Speech and Language Therapists from the NHS. I have provided individual interventions and small group activities for children of a wide range of abilities.

I have experience working with children and young people from 2 to 19 years old.
I have experience with children with autism and other special needs. Communication is my passion. I am experienced in using Alternative Methods of communication, such as Makaton, PECS and communication apps.
