About Me
Hi there, I am a new childminder in Lyneham. I am a mummy to 3 wonderful children aged 8, 3 and 1, and a bonus mummy to a 14 yr old. My 8 yr old has Autism and ADHD so I have plenty of experience (and patience) with neurodivergent needs.
The focus in my setting is to create a homely environment where your child can learn and thrive, whilst also receiving the comforts of being in a home, rather than a larger setting.
We spend a lot of time outdoors, i.e farm parks, splash pads, country/forest walks, local play parks. We would rather be learning in the garden than inside.
I believe in 'process over product' meaning your child may not come home with picture perfect artwork, but will have gained many age appropriate, additional skills whilst doing the activity.
I am happy to provide 3 meals a day for children, which will all be 'home cooked,' nutritious and tasty. I have experience with allergies/dietary requirements as one of my children is dairy intolerant.
My Experience
I am currently completing the Wiltshire council 'Childminding bootcamp.'
I also come from a family of childcare providers. My mother was a nursery manager and childminder, and my aunty was on Ofsted inspector of early years settings.
Childcare is second nature to me,(especially as I have my own 4 children too.)
My Qualifications
I am currently doing the Wiltshire council 'Childminding bootcamp' Which includes:
-EYFS, Regulation, Safety, Health & Hygiene
-Safeguarding, Child Protection, Safer Recruitment
-Learning & Development, Observation, Transitions
I have also completed Paediatric first aid, and food safety levels 1 & 2.
My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £9.50 per hour
Food is charged at £2 per meal, or £5 per day for all 3 meals (you may also provide your own meals if you wish to do so)
My hourly rate includes nappies, wipes, outings, snacks, drinks etc.
The only consumable I ask you to provide, is baby formula.
My Local Schools
This childminder has not yet informed us whether or not they provide any drop off or pick up services at local schools.
