My Experience

During my 3 years at the nursery, I gained a lot of hands-on experience caring for children aged 5 months to 4 years old. I was involved in planning and leading activities like story time, arts and crafts, and outdoor play. I also assisted with meals, nap times, and ensuring a safe and clean environment. This experience taught me how to manage different personalities, handle challenging situations calmly, and create a nurturing atmosphere where children can learn and grow. I really enjoyed watching the children develop new skills and confidence during their time at the nursery.

My Qualifications

I have completed my Level 2 qualification in childcare, which has given me a solid understanding of child development, safeguarding, and effective care techniques. I've also completed my first aid training so I'm prepared to handle any emergency situation. I'm excited to put these skills into practice and continue learning in a hands-on environment.

As a Level 2 qualified practitioner in a nursery I creat a stimulating, and nurturing environment for young children. I am directly involved in the day-to-day care and education of the children.
Direct Childcare: Assisting with daily routines like feeding, nappy changing, and comforting children.
Activity Support: I helped to plan and deliver a range of play-based learning activities that support children's development across all areas (physical, emotional, social, cognitive).
Ensuring Safety: Helping to maintain a safe and hygienic environment, following all nursery policies and procedures.
